Fantastic post!! You explained just peerfctly why things didn't go the way everyone expected. It sucks, but the bottom line is the prosecutors didn't do their jobs well enough. There wasn't enough evidence, and that's that. It drives me nuts when people see this as a failure of the justice system, because it isn't. The justice system worked the way it was supposed to. Sometimes that outcome isn't what we'd like.I cannot imagine how difficul that jury duty experience was for you, but you are to be commended for doing the right thing, even though your gut feeling was so strong. Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same, and that just plain sucks.
